There are many options to choose from as it pertains to a car that doesn't work any longer: it can be junked, a new car can be bought, the car can be set, accommodations car can be used for the time being, or a family member's can can also be used for the moment. That's one of the big advantages to buying those types of automobile parts, but another is they are much less expensive than OEM car parts. This is touched on within the last paragraph about OEM parts, but after-market automobile parts are usually 50% or even more less than the initial manufacturer's auto parts.
All things considered, it is absolutely up to the individual and the situation when the car is being restored. Many people choose OEM vehicle parts just because they are the safest type of parts to go with, but arguments for third-party car parts are because they're much cheaper are definitely more accessible.
